Description: The 10mm hand heat sealer is a special hand sealer used for the thickest plastic bags. An impulse heat sealer with a 10mm seal will work on plastic bags over 10 mil thick. It is important to understand that a heat sealer with a cutter should be used for poly-tubing. Another rule of thumb is to purchase a sealer that is 2 inches larger than the widest bag that needs to be heat sealed. The one inch extra on each side of the bag and allows for strong seals and faster operation. A foot heat sealer should be considered for moderate volume applications and a band sealer for high volume.
